World Archery Mutual Recognition Policy Principles for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE)

World Archery Mutual Recognition Policy Principles for TUE July 2005   In order to comply with the harmonisation encouraged by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the Chairman of the World Archery TUE Panel has agreed on the principle of recognition by World Archery of Therapeutic Use Exemptions issued by National Anti-Doping Agencies (NADOs) for athletes competing internationally, subject to the following restrictions:   Ø Athletes in the World Archery Registered Testing Pool must still submit their TUE application to World Archery , through ADAMS only. Ø For other athletes, World Archery will recognise the international validity of a TUE issued by a NADO only if the NADO is listed in the WADA website link for NADOs showing a link to an active website. World Archery must receive copies of the TUEs applications and related certificates of approval and reserves the right to deny the TUE. International validity means that it concerns all international events as recorded in the World Archery events calendar available on the World Archery website in the section "CALENDAR", and recorded with Grades 1, 2, 3 and World Ranking ticked box inclusive. Ø Special care will be taken concerning TUEs containing Beta-Blockers.
