The World Anti-Doping Agency is the independent agency responsible for the World Anti-Doping Code, which forms the basis for anti-doping policies in sport.
Each year, WADA releases an updated list of substances and methods that are prohibited both in- and out-of-competition, along with a summary of modifications. The latest edition of this list comes into effect on 1 January 2017:
Archery athletes should familiarise themselves with the lists as they are applicable under World Archery Anti-Doping Rules.
