Application period open for 2017 volunteer writers programme

7 November 2016
Lausanne (SUI)
The programme gives young people an opportunity to gain experience writing for an international sports organisation.

Participants will be expected to commit to composing features in English or translate from English to French (and French to English) for the World Archery website, in return for experience working with an international team of content producers, advice and skills training.

This opportunity is open to anyone who is fluent in English, with fluency in other languages a bonus, and requires a commitment of a minimum two hours per month for the duration of 2017.

The role would be perfect for a student or young adult with a passion for archery or sport and looking to gain valuable experience creating communications and editorial for a large sports organisation.

Aspiring writers should apply by submitting one article of 350+ words answering the question “What attributes do the world’s best archers have?” to by midnight CET on 31 December 2016.
