Hoyt and Easton finalise 5-year partnership with World Archery

Bow manufacturer Hoyt Archery and arrow manufacturer Easton Archery have signed a five-year diamond partner deal with World Archery covering the Olympic cycle for Tokyo and into 2021. Both companies have been long-time supporters of the international federation’s events, promotional activities and development projects.

The contract was signed during The Vegas Shoot 2017 by World Archery Secretary General Tom Dielen, Easton Archery President Mark Pezzoni and Hoyt Archery President Randy Walk.

Hoyt and Easton first partnered with World Archery in 2008.

Jas D Easton was founded in 1922 by James D Easton and has remained in the family through three generations. World Archery Honorary President and IOC Honorary Member Jim Easton ran the company when it acquired Hoyt in 1983 and World Archery Executive Board Member Greg Easton now acts as President of Jas D Easton, the parent company of both brands.

World Archery is the international federation for the important Olympic sport of archery. Its vision is for a world in which everyone has the opportunity to make archery their activity of choice.

World Archery Secretary General Tom Dielen said: “Hoyt and Easton are some of the most recognisable brands in the archery world. The companies’ contribution to the growth and success of the sport at the elite and grassroots level has been monumental. We’re proud and excited to continue working with both Hoyt and Easton towards World Archery’s vision of a world in which everyone has access to archery.”

Easton Archery President Mark Pezzoni said: “World Archery does a tremendous job bringing our sport to a worldwide audience. This fits directly with Easton’s vision of ‘Advancing Archery’s Legacy’. In my opinion, World Archery is definitely helping to popularise the sport and bringing it to more new participants every day.”

Hoyt Archery President Randy Walk said: “Hoyt Archery is very proud of its long-standing partnership with World Archery. For years, World Archery has been a leader in developing and promoting the sport of archery across the globe and Hoyt is committed to continuing to support this great cause, assisting World Archery in its unparalleled effort.”
