Beiter recurve team leads Indoor Archery World Series ranking after GT Open

Florian Kahllund, Cedric Rieger and Elena Richter picked up enough points at the GT Open for Beiter to debut at the top of the ranking in the Indoor Archery World Series team competition. The squad was entered prior to the start of the event in Luxembourg.

Richter finished eighth, Rieger ninth and Kahllund took recurve men’s bronze.

Team Beiter leads Wombat Consulting in the recurve ranking. Wombat’s Olympic silver medallist Jean-Charles ValladontJerome Bidault and Laurena Villard have all scored at one of the first two tournaments on the series calendar.

The compound ranking is topped by TRUBall/Axcel. The team includes the men’s winners from Macau (Kris Schaff) and Luxembourg (Mike Schloesser).

The Indoor Archery World Series team competition is open to companies, clubs, nations and other groups. It combines team members’ individual results into a team result – which is then used to rank squads over the course of the season.
