Qualifications for the World Games

The World Archery Field Championships 2012 in Val d’Isère is the qualifying event for the Cali 2013 World Games in the barebow and recurve field archery categories. Here are the countries that won the places. Here is a recap of the qualifications procedure for the barebow and recurve field archery categories: - 12 places in total per category (Recurve Men, Recurve Women, Barebow Men, Barebow women) - 1 place per category for Colombia - For each category, there is maximum 1 place per country per gender (except for the world champion and Colombia) - Qualification at World Archery Field Championships 2012 Val d’Isere based on final ranking - Final Entries by 31 May 2013 The compound athletes will feature in a new discipline at the World Games: target archery at 50 metres (World Cup system). Recurve Men As for all categories, there are 11 places available in Val d’Isère, since one is already for Colombia. The following 10 countries have won the places for the World Games: AUT, CZE, GBR, GER, FIN, FRA (2 places since it is world champion), ITA, NED, SWE, USA. Recurve Women The following 10 countries have won the places: AUT, BEL, FRA, GBR, GER (2 places since it is world champion), ITA, JPN, SLO, SWE, USA. Barebow Men The following 10 countries have won the places: ITA, SWE, ESP (2 places since it is world champion), USA ,FRA, SLO, GER, HUN, AUT, NED. Barebow Women The following 11 countries have obtained a place: AUS, AUT, CZE, FRA, FIN, GBR, GER, ITA, JPN, NED, SWE. Sweden is world champion in this category, but it could anyway not win a second place at the world championships since it had only one competitor. World Archery Communication
