Crispin DUENAS showcases archery to Prince Charles

Photo © Fred THORNHILL/Reuters Britain's Prince Charles tried out a competition bow with the help of Canadian archer Crispin DUENAS on a visit to the site of the Pan American Games athletes' village in Toronto on 22 May 2012. Also present was Ontario Premier Dalton McGUINTY. Four Canadian Olympians and Olympic hopefuls were part of the royal tour for His Royal Highness, Charles, Prince of Wales. Prince Charles was greeted at a 2015 Pan American Games site by Canadian Olympic Committee Board Member Deidra DIONNE (2002 and 2006 Olympian, freestyle skiing), Crispin DUENAS (2008 Olympian, archery), Tobias ORIWOL (2008 Olympian, swimming) and Michelle LI (nominated to 2012 Canadian Olympic Team, badminton). The four athletes spoke to His Royal Highness, shared their experiences as athletes and excitement for the upcoming London 2012 Olympic Games and even had the opportunity to demonstrate their sports. "It was a great experience to be able to demonstrate my sport of archery with Prince Charles today," said Crispin DUENAS. "I was impressed with his archery skills and enjoyed the opportunity."
