The Stars of Archery will compete at the Nimes Tournament – Indoor World Cup Stage 2 later this week Nimes (FRA) – 18 January 2012 Albina LOGINOVA (RUS)    More than 1000 archers from 31 countries will be competing at the 15th Tournament of Nimes from 20-22 January 2012. This event will count as the second stage of the Indoor Archery World Cup 2011-2012. The first stage was held in Singapore at the beginning of December. The final stage will take place in Las Vegas on 10-11 February right after the Indoor World Championships.   Archers from a record number of countries will be competing in Nimes later this week: Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Morocco, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and USA.     The Favourites The world’s best archers in the four international categories will be present in Nimes.   On the men’s side, in compound as in recurve, the competition will feature the leaders of the World Ranking, Rodger WILLETT Jr. (USA) and Brady ELLISON (USA).   On the women’s side, the two favourites will come from Russia. In compound women, the winner of the 2011 Indoor World Cup, ranked No. 2 in the World Albina LOGINOVA (RUS) will be the one to beat.
