Mexico's Linda OCHOA wins gold in recurve women to set Pan American record. The elimination rounds that started in the morning to define the Pan American champion in the Olympic round yielded favourable results for the United States after winning first (Michelle GILBERT) and third (Kiley LARRICK) places while Venezuela's Saraneth RIVERA finished in second place for the recurve junior women's competition.
