Second European Club Teams Cup

Second European Club Teams Cup Lausanne – 15 October 2009  The winning men's team The 2nd European Club Teams Cup took place in Madrid (ESP) from 9-11 October. Archers competed in the recurve men and women's categories.   It was a chance for a lot of archers to feel the excitement of competing with their club teammates in an international event. It was also another way for all the archery clubs in EMAU to communicate and promote their results for their city, sponsors and archery!   On the men's side, 57 archers from 19 clubs took part in the event, while the women's competition featured 42 archers from 14 clubs. Competitors came from France, Spain, England, Italy, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Russia.   In the recurve men's category, the podium was swept by three French clubs! The team silver medallist from the 2009 Worlds Jean Charles VALLADONT led his club of Torpes (FRA) to victory.
