European Indoor Archery Championship 2008

The 11th European and Mediterranean Indoor Archery Championship will be held in Turin, Italy from 3 to 9 March 2008. The final registration date is set on 14 February.   The Archery venue for this event is located inside the Palace “Oval Lingotto”, built and used for the competitions of Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games. It will include a qualification field, a training field and a special field for the finals, as well as a very large area for spectators. The “Oval Lingotto” is also equipped with restaurant, bar, shopping and display areas, closed circuit TV, big TV screen and Internet Wi-Fi hot spots.   The official website of the 2008 European Indoor Archery Championship is www.torino2008.eu.   As a preparation to this event, national teams can take part an International Indoor Tournament organized on 1-2 March by the Compagnia Arcieri Città di Varese.
