I am so happy today that I did it. I was nervous a little bit, because it was very important for me. I believed that everything will be all right. Now, I can think positively about tomorrow, but we will see. Anything can happen.   Clara NIETO TALADRIZ (ESP) It is so amazing. I broke the world record! I started my championship really bad but later I shot better and better. I was so stressed today but my coach is so funny and he makes me calm and it helps me to release all the tensions. Even the weather conditions didn’t influence my shooting although it was too hot for me.   Corral GEMA (ESP) These are my first World Archery Youth Championships and I am really excited about it. In my humble opinion I shot very well today and tried my best to get the highest possible result for me at the present moment. Even though I didn’t win, I have got good feelings about my opponent and performance. I have also found out on what I should work harder. It is vital if I want to become a senior archer in the national team.   Kristy DAVIES (GBR) I am happy about my result in the competitions. It was a good day. Jorina COETZEE (RSA) shot well but maybe I will win against her next time. I am aware of the fact that she is a good archer but with time and practice I can achieve mastery. What else can I say? Move forward!   Giulia CAVALLERI (ITA) I am fine. Unfortunately, I didn’t achieve what I hoped for. I was beaten by Katie ROTH (CAN) but I think I can get better results with my team tomorrow.   Sydney WATSON (CAN) I WON!!!!! At first I was not calm but later the tension went away. I was like a rock. What was great is that my coach was with me all the time and the team supported me. I am so tired after the whole day of shooting but now I am on a cloud. Now I have to rest and think positively about tomorrow.   Bairma DYLYKOVA (RUS) It was hard to win this match. My aim was to win and I did it. The sun was shining too much and that could have influenced my shooting but I won. I still cannot believe it. I felt the pressure to win but I don`t know why. My coach was so friendly and the team supported me. I have to go to sleep a little bit because the day was so tiring.   Compound Junior Men`s Individual from 25 August   Thomas RESTREPO (COL) I shot pretty well today. I had the feeling that I could win and I was confident of my skills. It wasn’t difficult to win for me. I did a nice job and I believe that my coach is proud of me. I still have to work on my skills. I managed to do everything I learned before. During this set I was very focused. What can I add? I am happy   Lorenz FEUCHT (SUI) This was not a good match for me. I wanted to make it perfect as much as possible but I wasn`t good enough. I wasn`t nervous so I thought I could win. Unfortunately, I shot two bad ends. When I made my 1st error I lost concentration. I will work on that when I am back in Switzerland. I really have to undergo mental practice.   Francisco ROJAS (COL) Unfortunately, I lost today. I am glad that I didn’t shot so badly but I am sad that I couldn’t win. I lost but this is only a game. You cannot treat it too seriously. When I come back in Columbia I will work on my skills for instance on my concentration and self-confidence. I am certain that it will help me a lot to be a better archer. Next time I will win!!!   Recurve Junior Men’s individual   Rick VAN DER VEN (NED) I believe that my shooting was ok. I won against ZAMORA (MEX) but I came here to get better results so I am a little bit disappointed. I was so close. I feel confident about tomorrow but we will see… When I am back home I have to improve some technical things…   Oldair ZAMORA (MEX) I lost and unfortunately it was far from my opponent’s score. I am still very happy because I am in the top eight. This is my best result in international competitions. When I will be back in my country I will train hard to improve my results. Here in Legnica I gained a lot of experience and now I know what areas I have to work on. All my family was with me. My father and my mother always telll me that they are proud off me no matter what happen. I have to thank my coach Edesio Rodriguez and my whole family for their support.   Yue LIU (CHN) This was my 1st international championships. I am of the opinion that IVANYTSKYY is a good archer but I fortunately won. I know I still have to keep working especially when I will return to China. My family supports me all the time. During the set I felt normal. I wasn’t scared at all.  

  Recurve Cadet Mens Individual   Rui HUANG (CHN) When I had the match with ZUMBO (USA) I was really nervous. I am thinking of him as the greater archer. It was the first time I took part in an international competition so maybe that is why I was stressed. My coach always encouraged me, kept care, and paid attention to my actions and results. It is highly helpful not only during the match but also while having practice.   Matthew ZUMBO (USA) I shot really well. I lost but the scores were really close. HUANG (CHN) won one point every end. However, my position is still very high. It would be good to win. I lost but it is still ok. When I come back to the USA I will watch the video once again and I will try to fix everything I did wrong. I am glad that my coach was with me all the time. Never stop fighting!!!   Recurve Junior Women’s Individual   Jiani ZHU (CHN) I enjoyed the competition very much. These were my 3rd international championships. I strongly believe that my performance was good but I still have to keep training.   Lidiia SICHENIKOVA (UKR) I find my performance great. I know that the archer I was shooting with is very good.
