NAVEK has joined World Archery’s industry sponsorship programme as a diamond partner ahead of the 2024 season.

Founded in 1999 and based in Istanbul, NAVEK has been a title sponsor of the Turkish archery federation since 2015, and supports archers domestically and abroad through its distribution network and homegrown ASES archery brand.

While receiving exposure at World Archery’s banner events, a target face license and access to the extensive content library, NAVEK’s commitment includes substantial backing for the international federation’s elite training centre in Lausanne.

Coaching courses, resident athletes and world-class practice camps held at the World Archery Excellence Centre will have access to NAVEK equipment.

“Happy to welcome NAVEK as a high-level partner of our organisation and thankful for the support they are now giving to archery’s worldwide development efforts,” said World Archery secretary general Tom Dielen. “NAVEK has witnessed the sport’s domestic success story and through this kind of industry support we can spread similar growth internationally.”

Archery’s popularity in Türkiye has risen dramatically over the past two decades, and particularly since Mete Gazoz’s historic win at Tokyo 2020.

The country will host the final world qualifier, both team and individual, for the upcoming Olympic Games alongside its traditional stage of the Hyundai Archery World Cup in June this year. NAVEK traditionally attends with a pop-up shop.

“We are proud to have a partnership with World Archery,” said NAVEK chief executive officer Recep Demirkan. “We have worked very hard to improve our manufacturing knowledge of archery equipment over the last 10 years and we believe now is the right time to share this knowledge with the worldwide archery family.”

“With this partnership, we aim to create new opportunities for both NAVEK and World Archery as we extend our zone of impact by supplying products globally, which will hopefully be a key factor in developing this beautiful sport.”

NAVEK also sponsors the Turkish able-bodied and para archery teams.
