Board members Klaus LINDAU (GER), Vladimir ESHEEV (RUS), Trudy MEDWED (AUT), Thierry ZINTZ (BEL), Hakan Cakiroglu (TUR), Evelyn PAPADOPOULOU (GRE) and Rolf LIND (DEN) were also present at the meeting in Rome.

The WAE Executive Board took several important decisions, of which the most important are:

Organisation of the next WAE Elective Congress in Echmiadzin, Armenia, on 20 July 2014 The Continental Quota Tournament (CQT) for Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing 2014 will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, during the European Outdoor Youth Championships on 19-24 May 2014. Criteria for the qualification system of EOC for the European Games that will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 17-22 June 2015; the first qualification event will be held during the European Championships in Echmiadzin, Armenia, and the second during the European Grand Prix, in March 2015 (date and location to be decided).
