Lausanne Archery Classic to open Excellence Centre

The first Lausanne Archery Classic will take place on Sunday 4 December in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the brand-new World Archery Excellence Centre, a state-of-the-art practice and competition facility in the Olympic Capital.

Open to recurve men, recurve women, compound men and compound women, the 18-metre indoor tournament will consist of a 60-arrow ranking round, followed by head-to-head eliminations. Prize money will be available for each category:

  • 1st – 500 CHF
  • 2nd – 200 CHF
  • 3rd – 100 CHF

Hoyt has confirmed matching contingency for Hoyt archers.

The compound competition will feature an adjusted target face for testing purposes. (The size of the nine ring will be decreased.) Athletes will be required to provide feedback on the alternative competition face.

Entry costs 30 CHF and registration is open through World Archery’s online system until Friday 2 December.

The First Lausanne Archery Classic will run 4 December at the World Archery Excellence Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland. Competition is expected to start at 9am and conclude by 6pm local time.
