Mixed team qualification world records available from Berlin

Berlin (GER)
The records were officially added to the rulebook by the executive board.

Mixed teams will be able to claim ranking round world records as of the fourth stage of the 2018 Hyundai Archery World Cup in Berlin, Germany, after the World Archery executive board approved a new bylaw during its meeting at the tournament.

Ranking round records were not added to the rulebook with the compound matchplay records when the event was introduced.

Since the mixed team was added to the Tokyo 2020 programme, where there will be Olympic records for the event, there has been additional interest in previous world-best scores.

The executive board had the option of backdating the new records to the highest scores shot since the start of 2018, or beginning in 2019, but ultimately decided that immediate introduction from Berlin would be fairest.

Additional information from the executive board will follow after its conclusion on 17 July.
