22 shoot perfect 900s in championship open category at Vegas Shoot in 2020

Twenty-two archers in the championship open category shot perfect 900-point scores at the Vegas Shoot in 2020, setting up the second-largest shootdown in the main event’s history.

Last year, 23 shooters were clean.

Among the names on the list are defending champion Sergio Pagni, previous Vegas winners Chance Beaubouef, Mike Schloesser, Chris Perkins and Jesse Broadwater, and seven first-timers.

They will be joined by Glen Bordwell, the lucky dog, who won a sudden-death shoot-out between the 44 archers who finished on 899 for the ticket to the arena.

Paige Pearce became the sixth compound woman to shoot 900, winning her category outright, and Brady Ellison also made history as the first recurve archer to complete the 90 arrows of the Vegas Shoot without dropping a point.
