Korea names Olympic team for London

In the women’s category, Korea will be represented by the leader of the World Ranking KI Bo Bae, the 2004 Olympic team champion LEE Sung Jin and the newcomer CHOI Hyeonju. The alternate is CHANG Hye Jin, who has competed in both the World Cup events already held this year. The team regularly trains at the Mokdong Baseball Stadium, home of the Nexen Heroes of the Korea Baseball Organization, as preparation to the London Olympic Games. The shooting circumstances there are very similar to those of the Lord’s Cricket Ground, the venue for the Olympic archery competition. A simulation of competition was held on 26 May in the form of a team round, the men shooting against the women.
