Archery teams have begun to arrive in London and make their way to the Olympic Village. Today, two Colombian archers were the first to experience the Olympic Archery Training/Ranking Round Range at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Ana RENDON and Daniel PINEDA OSORIO first warmed up on the 10m range and then shot on the 70m range. It was Ana RENDON who shot the first arrow at 70m and in recognition of this, Chris MARSH, Archery Competition Manager, presented her with a Wenlock Olympic mascot archery badge.

The Olympic archery tournament gets underway on 27 July, the day of the opening ceremony, with the qualification round in both the mens’ and womens’ competitions.
