World Archery Brand Identity Guidelines and Communication Style Guide

World Archery Brand Identity Guidelines and Communication Style Guide Lausanne – 18 June 2009   The International Archery Federation (FITA) has published two new Guidelines: its World Archery Brand Identity Guidelines and World Archery Communication Style Guide.   ‘World Archery’ is the forward-focused, global image for the new brand of FITA, the official worldwide governing body for the sport of archery. This brand has been established primarily to promote the sport of archery to a braod target market around the world.   The immense value of strong branding for any organisation cannot be over emphasized, especially today. Over time, with continuous and consistent use, the brand builds, gains recognition and furter reflects the attributes and values inherent in the organisation.   It is extremely important therefore to apply the brand identity with care and precision. The Brand Identity Guidelines have been designed to help do this. They should be followed meticulously.   This Communication Style Guide outlines the preferred use of language and terminology related to FITA and World Archery. It also provides guidance to preferred spelling and style.   This guide is for members of the FITA family and other stakeholders in order to standardise spelling, acronyms and other archery terminology, use of logos and graphics, the “look” of archery.   If in doubt about any aspect of the World Archery brand identity or style, please contact FITA at info@archery.org.   FITA Communication
