Neither Ki Bo Bae nor Kim Yun Hee were selected for the Korean team at the worlds.

The Korean team at the 2017 World Archery Championships will be without two of its reigning world champions as Ki Bo Bae and Kim Yunhee were left off the registration sheet. Kim Woojin, who also won gold in Copenhagen in 2015, and Olympic Champion Chang Hye Jin did make the squad.

Teams of four athletes in each category were announced at the start of the year, with the final three to represent Korea at the worlds selected on results over the season.

The Korean team in Mexico City has been confirmed as: Kim Woojin, Oh Jin Hyek, Im Dong Hyun, Chang Hye Jin, Choi Misun, Kang Chae Young, Choi Yonghee, Hong Sung Ho, Kim Jongho, Choi Bomin, So Chaewon and Song Yun Soo.

Ki Bo Bae, who also came third at the Olympics in 2016 and won the recent Hyundai Archery World Cup Final in Rome, is the most surprising absence.
