30,000 Competitors, 28 Sports, 1 Golden City

Held from 10-18 October 2009, the Sydney 2009 World Masters Games will see 30,000 competitors from over 100 countries take part in 28 sports. Many of the sporting venues to be used for the Games are the same world class arenas that hosted the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, ensuring competitors have a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to encounter an Olympic style experience.
